Yes it is a quality for quantity offer, but that doesn't mean there isn't quality in the quantity. Also a team like the Kings is in desperate need for more depth i.e. quantity.

He's not talked about enough imo. He's a budding young potential star. I see absolutely no reason why the Kings would consider moving him. He's the biggest piece of their future offence (aside from Kopitar).

King is moveable in a lot of fans eyes, Pearson isn't unless you overpay.

Nelson's point totals would come down drastically if he was player for coach DS. That offer does not get LA to even listen.

Our team is week at forwards and I don't think many of them would be available unless we were upgrading on the position. King is one I wouldn't mind moving but he is a coaching staff favorite.

Toffoli scored 31 in a much more defense oriented system, and MDC hasn't played a single NHL game. Also consider the fact that Yakupov was the 1st overall draft pick 4 years ago, draft position doesn't mean **** if you can't actually play in the NHL.

Bottom line it is a quantity for quality trade. The "quality" in your quantity isn't good enough to get the actual quality.

Unfortunately you can't sacrifice top end talent to get depth, thats not how the NHL works.

It would fix the 'depth' problem and open up another issue in the top-six. Depth is easier to fix, top-six talent not so much for the Kings, especially not YOUNG top six talent. Can't imagine a world in which TT is for sale.

you are correct, I agree with Leddy, Harmonic not the type of player we want for Toffoli. We need more of a mover than a two way D to replace Voynov. And that puck mover still has to hold his own on the D-side (just in case someone offers something silly). If Leddy ever becomes available Toffoli is your man.
