I'll admit, my first thought was that it was a fitness challenge, like seeing how long he could keep his arms extended while holding it, or something.
Boy was I wrong.![]()
Vodka bucket challenge officially on for the 2nd HFStars meet up.
This sounds like my type of competition.
Guy on Facebook was saying Tyler only did the signing today for the money. I mean clearly. Gotta buy that booze somehow.
In all seriousness I would only do what Tyler did today for money. It must be extremely taxing.
1 hour of signing autographs?
Maybe not one hour but I would still like to get paid. My point is, going to an event to sign stuff there is no shame in taking pay for it.
Well supposedly him and Benn (Benn used to sign before this year) skip out on signing at practice, so I completely disagree that he should come away with money for an hour of signing. Too many athletes forget that they wouldn't be making the money they do if it weren't for the fans of the sport.
I'm of the opinion that their only job is what they do on the ice and everything they do for the fans off of it is a bonus. I know that if I was a player I wouldn't want to do any signings no matter how much money I might be paid for them. Not all players are comfortable in that setting and they don't have to be. Fans aren't actually entitled to anything from players
Lobo confirmed as actually being Tyler Seguin.
You held a party to welcome the team and watch a football game last week, was that part of being more comfortable?
“Yeah, that was great. I couldn’t have done that last year, because I didn’t know guys, but it was something that came together pretty easily, and something I think we want to do more of. We have a tight group, and I think that makes a difference (on the ice).”
Do you feel like you have a strong leadership role on the team?
“Yeah, definitely. Whether you have a letter or not doesn’t make a difference. I think you can have young guys who are leaders and more experienced guys who are leaders. I’m a young guy, but I think I have a lot of experience and that helps.”
