I seriously doubt that Myers and his agent are going to accept a huge haircut on his contract to come back to Vancouver. This might be the last NHL contract he'll ever get, so he has to 'go for it'.
So if he's determined to test free agency, he's as good as gone. Some team starved for right-shot d-men is bound to overpay.
He salvaged his NHL career based on his last season with the Canucks.....but the Myers experiment has run its course for the Canucks.
