I am just the messenger...I gave up on him a few years ago. He has never shown he has had the tools to be an NHL player IMO. Or at least, he hasn't shown he can use his tools effectively.

Hearing Staios talking him up was hilarious - it just shows you that you have to take everything an NHL GM says publicly with a massive grain of salt. There is zero chance that Staios believes a word of what he was saying. He was just trying to pump the kid's tires and put on a brave public face but he is no dummy - he knows the truth about Boucher better than anyone.

As for closing this thread, I disagree - it should stay open, because Tyler Boucher is literally the poster boy for this "rebuild".
