Chicago VS LA game 7 recap.

I don't think I've ever had a louder reaction to a win. Not old enough for too much before the early 90's. Game 6 or 7 against Toronto. Game 4 or 6 against Detroit. The Murray OT goal against Colorado. The first Cup. The 2nd Cup. Game 7 against Chicago was just the culmination of everything between the home opener in 2013 and Game 7. The Hawks owned the Kings for that time period. The Game 5 OT. They come into LA and win Game 6. Go up 2-0 early in Game 7, and it was feeling like, ugh, here we go again, goddamn Hawks.

Brown even had a significant impact on that game. If we just had more of that Brown. The guy that threw the hit to win the only game against the Sharks. More of those moments consistently, and we wouldn't care about the contract. It feels like that Brown is right there, but also so far away.

To quote BigKing from one of the Around the League threads this year:

Me and my ex were actually doing it during the intermission before OT in Game 7 against Chicago. I know that's TMI but I just thought I'd share it. Let's just say that the finish was definitely better after the intercou...I mean intermission.

The best game that I have ever seen. Two of the best teams in the league playing their absolute best trying to one up each other. Getting revenge on them from the year before was a great feeling. I thought it was all over when the Hawks won game 6.

The whole run was a whirlwind of of emotions. Coming from behind against the Sharks, defeating the Ducks for the first time, one of the best series you'll ever watch against the Hawks and 4 OT against the Rangers capped of by Martinez. What a memorable run

Sometimes its hard to say something is "the best" because there are many good games or series, but the game 7 against the Hawks was hands down without a doubt the best game I have ever watched in hockey. I say this having watched the Miracle on Figuara, 2012 run, and the other series and games in 2014.

Down by 2 and coming back repeatedly in that game and the OT winner against the team that was the best and had beaten us soundly the year before. Just perfect drama.

This was a magical run. So many memorable moments. One of my personal favorites was when they killed a 5 on 3 PK vs the sharks. The crowd went nuts.

Fantastic clip. Awesome crowd, appreciating pk to the level of importance that it really was.

I was at that game 6 against the Sharks and that PK effort was met with some of the loudest cheers I've ever heard at a live sporting event.

Don't know if you guys remember this though, but right after that terrific penalty killing effort, the Sharks scored a goal to even up the game. Thankfully it didn't matter ;)

That was when Mitchell hurt himself. Can see it around 2:15 of the clip.
