Nice to get a win. Same guys were the problems tonight. We need to do better than Lindgren and Miller in the top 4.

The play with the empty net was yet another concerning trend. Zero sense of urgency from the guys on the ice late. Mika and Kreider couldnt execute an ENG despite having the puck down that end twice. Defenseman throwing it blindly around the ice.

Quick was awesome. He can be a leader for this team as they try to dig out. Hopefully he can get #400 against the Caps.

Sorry to the tankathon watchers but this team isnt rebuilding or tanking. The same guys we know are on the block but it seems like Drury is going to take a swing.

This is the first game I've watched in the Borgen era.

I watched the last 2 periods fully expecting the rangers to give up the lead and lose which was tempered by the realization that they didn't deserve to win anyway. Zero enjoyment involved.

I kinda liked Borgen though. At least he battled the rat bastard Marchand.

The lone bright spot in this season will be Quick getting his 400th win. Sam deserves better in his last year of a legendary career.

I will say this, he wasn't as bad as normal. Vaakanainen was visually much worse and made more mistakes.

Outside of Vaak's attempted Kostka today, I really dont think either guy has been a problem. Considering what we are on the hook for contract wise I prefer them to Lindgren and K'Andre (and Jones fwiw)

If they were our third pair (they are but stay with me) and we didn't have Lindgren and Miller sucking mega ass 45 minutes a game, it would look a lot better.
