Twenty Years on Hfboards

Me self celebrated 20th anniversary few months ago. I also was for a short time one from the writers about Slovak prospects. And they paid me for that!!!

Wait - you got PAID?!

I only wrote two small articles, back in the day, for HockeysFuture. One for Dallas and one for Toronto.

Prospect rankings, I think. Never saw a dime.

All good though, like the others have said once I got a feel for this place I just stuck around. Has it's ups and downs but I'll be hitting 20 years in December and look forward to many more.

While we are on the subject, what the heck was the deal with these boards being a subdomain of some random gq.com clone in mandatory.com? Did somebody camp on the hfboards domain name the last ten years?

I remember the mobile experience being hilariously awful about 4 years ago, I still have the screenshot somewhere of the time I loaded in to a banner ad that covered all four sides of the screen. Like trying to browse through a porthole . Ive always been pretty sure this site also leaks memory the way Cloutier leaked goals, but at the end of the day nobody cares because its hockey.
