OT: TV Movie Thread Part Iii

EW.com posted a spoiler in a headline for something that happens at the end of Andor S2 Ep. 3. That's just despicable.

Presently watching Ransom Canyon...outside of a few hot women ...just a 2.5/5 from me....Jeter's ex though is a hot looking lady !!! Seems like a lot of spit getting exchanged in the first half dozen shows . It's not Yellowstone but the women are all better looking then the old horse Beth of Yellowstone fame.....

Originally I was going to disagree with you as I enjoyed Working Man. However, I'm just finishing Beekeeper and I agree. Beekeeper got better as it went along.
Working Man is like a John Wick version of Beekeeper, with the villains being in caricature territory and a less believable plot relatively speaking.

I'm gonna watch this Cheech & Chong biopic.

The lady and I are working our way through the MCU, which are popcorn movies, but it’s been fun to watch the entirety with a new viewer who is into it. We’re at Infinity War now so she’s pretty deep and she’s all aboard the Thor train, which as Loki’s adopted father, I approve of.

Yeah, I watched this as well. Kind of like a cross between Virgin River and Yellowstone. It's not bad but nothing to put at the top of your list.

  • Captain America: The Winter Soldier
  • Guardians of the Galaxy
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
  • Avengers: Age of Ultron
  • Ant-Man
  • Captain America: Civil War
  • Black Widow
@LokiDog In chronological order I like the run listed above from The Winter Soldier through Black Widow. Those are some good films.

I watched First Reformed on Prime and was interesting, but the ending was bad and I just long for prime Paul Schrader and not his halfway decent later work. I need to still watch The Card Counter, but I am kind of convinced he hasn’t made a truly great film since Light Sleeper in 1992.

I also watched Samurai Reincarnation on Prime because you can’t go wrong with Sonny Chiba.

Me too. I was trying to remember the title of Lodge 49. Thx! Wyatt Russell is in Thunderbolts.
Lodge 49 was one of my favorite shows. Sad that it was cancelled before we could see the whole story play out.

The Resort also kind of had that vibe. That was from a writer on Lodge 49.

"Speaking on ITV’s This Morning on Wednesday (30 April), Anderson said: “I spoke to him, and what I said was, ‘If anyone were to do it, I think you are the perfect person and best of luck, call me.’” “At some point, if the phone rings and it’s good and it feels like the right time, perhaps,” she said".
