I thought the last 2 episodes were the best of the season, so I think you will be pleased.
They did the same last season....saved the best for last......I was about halfway thru season 1 and was considering giving it up when all hell broke loose.

Thanks for the heads up.

I mentioned it... as someone mentioned, 4th season is a little meh

We just started Tacoma FD

Same guys who did Super Troopers & Beerfest and it's pretty funny also
Thank you. I think I'm still on season 2 or 3. Noticed the redheaded kid is no longer in class. His mom must have moved back to ABC (The Goldbergs). :)

If people haven't seen it before I recommend Knight and Day with Tom Cruise. I think its a fun underrated movie. ☺️
Don't forget Cameron Diaz. My gf and I were watching some new Netflix movie tonight with Jaime Foxx and Cameron Diaz. I hadn't realized that she "retired' from acting for 10 years before coming back for this movie. I'll always love her in Bad Teacher.

LOL I watched that too tonight. That is what gave me the idea. ☺️

Mentioning Cameron Diaz and leaving out There’s Something About Mary is egregious lol.

Couldnt take it anymore.

Bitched to Optimum and got a one time $70 credit and negotiated $50 off my bill by cutting out the sports package and switching to their fiber connection next week. Figure ill give that a shot and if it doesnt work out I can look elsewhere. I'm in North NJ. If you have optimum give them hell and maybe you can get some $ off.

Sprung for a streaming service, likely illegal (?) but its secure (i did some digging and using a VPN) its got MSG, Redzone, TSN, SN canada, all of the ESPNs, NESN, YES, Ballys, and any other sports channel you can think of. I can watch any out of market hockey game as well. Trying it out for a month for $19. PM me for more details.

Definitely egregious if I'm thinking about :eek::eek::eek: in the hair Farrelly Brothers humor scenes.

To me, that movie was as much as Ben Stiller vs Matt Damon chasing Mary. When I think of that movie, I remember the frank and beans scene, Magda, her dog, fight scene, etc.

I prefer her performance in Bad Teacher were she basically had to carry that movie on her own and be funny. Some people might even think of Charlies Angels or Shrek over TSAM. Anyway, to each their own.

Broken Lizard are fun. They've made some pretty good movies after Beerfest that for whatever reason have terrible advertising and marketing.

I rewatched TSaM recently and knowing the story so well (as well as maybe somewhat different perspective since I’m 50 now vs 20s when it came out) I noticed a lot more details including jokes development than before. If you can believe it some of jokes and story lines have some emotional depth.

While I thought Brody and Pearce gave strong performances, I was left a bit disappointed in The Brutalist.

The first part of the movie was great and a classic, the second part really struggled with pacing issues, and just gets really dark.

Even with the 3.5 hour runtime, it never felt long, which is a good thing, but I just thought it would be better.

Is there an intermission with this movie? I was debating going to see it the next few days at Alamo Drafthouse but if there’s an intermission, I may open up my options to other theaters

I just rewatched the Amazon NHL series that came out recently. I remembered McDavid getting fired up in the locker room the Oilers were down in the Cup, but I don’t recall it being as awkward or whiny as it came off watching this time. I would have a really hard time with him being my captain.

He’s very quiet and awkward, which he admits in the show, but then when he is vocal it comes off kinda like when you see one of those viral videos of some gamer dude whose parent deleted their save file and they lose their mind. None of this makes him less of a player, but it does illustrate how unimportant the stars and star status of your captain are; McDavid’s production alone means he’ll always be a “leader” on any team he’s on, but there is literally zero reason for him to be the captain. It’s not who he is. It’s not in his personality. They’d be better off with freaking Perry as their captain. Not wearing the C wouldn’t means McDavid wasn’t allowed to have his outburst when down 2-0 in the finals either.

But him being relied on and looked to as the vocal leader… so many times these types of personnel decisions drive home to me that NHL coaches are actual dinosaurs with virtually no idea what they’re doing. The league needs an infusion of innovative yount coaches who aren’t two full decades behind the 8-ball.

This.

After a life in uniform (either cams or a suit) I’ve learnt that the best soldiers don’t make the best officers, the best workers don’t make the best bosses. So too in sport, the best players don’t always make the best captains. Leadership hasn’t changed in centuries, if at all.
