Yes, in Imax for its 10th year anniversary. They haven't really done any promotion for it, but it has broken the record for a re-release in IMAX.

The first showing was on Fri Dec 6th. It was only meant to be out a week in very limited theaters, but the demand for it was insane. It sold out incredibly quickly, so they extended it through tomorrow in a ton of theaters. Tomorrow will be your last opportunity. I went again earlier today and I'm tempted to go again tomorrow.
Ugh the only movie I’ve regretted not seeing in theaters. Wish they advertised!!!

Man that sucks. They actually had it in theaters for one day only back in April (which of course I went to see). So, I've seen it 3 times this year plus when it first came out 10 years ago. I've streamed it over 100 times easily and I just put it on again...which I knew would chase my gf out of my study. Ha

Especially after getting pounded by them year after year. Remember how we would get our asses kicked during every brawl? I built up so much hate for the Flyers year after year and I finally got an exorcism when Orr put Fedoruk in a coma.
I especially hated that little weasel, Clarke -- always starting shit and then hiding behind Shultz

We were very soft but Philly did that to 75% of teams 😠
It always tickled me that the Bullies had so much trouble with the Smurfs (Kisio & Co.). Brutes just couldn't keep up with them.

I got to see Hans Zimmer live in September so that made up for it. But I’ve always wished I saw interstellar in theaters. I’ve seen everything from Batman to Oppenheimer in theaters, but not Interstellar.

Oh wow, nice. I've seen him on Youtube do a full Interstellar show and it was incredible.

He played in Dallas on this recent tour, but re-sale ticket prices were insane and I didn't want to pay it and make a 4-hour drive. Speaking of which, this is the first time in a long time where I don't see the Rangers in Dallas. If they won't put in the effort, neither will I.

Probably unpopular opinion, but I didn't like Juror #2. I thought the concept was great, but I didn't like the screenplay nor the stereotyped jurors. I've been a fan of Clint Eastwood, but this one didn't do it for me. Hell of a career though.

I'd like to see Jason Segel's character on Shrinking move on.

The season finale of Bad Sisters is out and it's probably not being picked up for year 3.

There's an 8 minute preview of Severance out.

EDIT: The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim will be available on digital on December 27th after just two weeks in theaters.
Not surprised about Bad Sisters as it was intended to be a only one season -- the writer had to be convinced to come up with season 2.

Top 8 movies of the year for me:

Dune Part 2
Anora
Civil War
Snack Shack
Challengers
Didi
Furiosa
Fall Guy

Bottom 8 movies of the year:

Argylle
Borderlands
Kraven
Drive Away Dolls
Ghostbusters
Madame Webb
Megalopolis
Red One

Got Nosferatu on Saturday, and then hopefully get to Sing Sing, September 5, The Brutalist, Bob Dylan movie in early January.

Sad I missed A Real Pain in theaters, will catch on streaming when it hits.

Not a terrible 2024 for movies, was nice to see a good summer box office recovery, here’s to a better 2025.

I loved the Fall Guy TV show. I thought the movie was supposed to be bad. Sounds like you are recommending it. The TV show them song was great!

Red One was horrible!!!

I think your bottom 8 is pretty accurate.

I would have to think about my top 8. I think A Real Pain would have to be included.

I saw A Complete Unknown today. Loved it. I've only been getting into Bob Dylan the past few years, but I really enjoyed it.

On one hand, his struggle to break free of folk music seems like not the strongest drama struggle on screen, but on the other hand, I think the director tried to make it more like Amadeus. Wait, it's nowhere close to Amadeus (I have a giant wall-sized poster of Amadeus in my garage), but the movies were similar in that they tried to show the impact Dylan/Mozart had to people around him.

Lots of great Christmas movies out there, but if your rotation doesn’t include at least one of The Home Alones, Santa Clauses or Jingle All The Way you’re doing it wrong.

Just started watching s1. Take this as a warning to not go to s2
Just finishing up Season 2 ... have to say I'm not all that pleased with the last 3 episodes -- especially the last one. As much as I love those girls, I think it best they don't continue the series.

Anyway, I found the first few episodes of Dune confusing, but it doesn't help that I'm watching hockey on another screen and maybe surfing the net. Maybe my lack of attention comes from not really caring about the show so far.
Just watching 6th episode of Dune Prophecy -- honest assessment: this will be my last. The constant switching from the past to the present without any warning really wrecks the flow of the story -- which would work well if they stayed in one time period.
