So... yeah, haven't watched the new episode of Yellowstone yet but read about how they handled the Costner situation.

What a weird, weird situation. Kind of unbelievable he walked away from that to do his cowboy opus that was, frankly, great to fall asleep to.

I won't show my ignorance and ask: What the heck is "Wednesday"?

The little girl on the Addams Family tv show. I know you changed your name but you're still a Major Domo to me. There's a great old Steely Dan song called "Any major dude will tell you".

I don't watch the Taylor Sheridan network so no.
I never watched Yellowstone before binging it a year ago. It was really good till Sunday. Funny thing is you called it the Taylor network. I was shocked that Sunday's episode was on 4 or 5 different channels at the same time. That was weird.

He literally has credits on almost every single series CBS/Paramount+ releases. All of the Yellowstone franchise along with Stallone's 'Tulsa King' and Rennert's 'Mayor'.

It's borderline laughable because he's not IMO a good writer.

I watched Deadpool & Wolverine so I could understand why Jennifer Garner was showing up in commercials again... It was not good.

I'm probably not the target audience (although I enjoyed the 1st one, have enjoyed most MCU/comic movies, and have been reading comics on and off for 35 years), but it was just very 'meh' and seemed to want to use music/action/1-liners in place of a useful plot (and I get that's part of Deadpool's shtick, but there are better ways to do it).
It actually reminded me of Ice Age 5 which i had to take my kids to many moons ago; someone came up with some set pieces designed to work with catchy songs and then tried to stitch them together into a movie.
With all the hype and marketing I was honestly expecting something at least slightly better

On apple TV Shrinking is really good. And excited for the return of Severance.

An oldie but making our way through Legion. It's really cool.

Going back to try and watch the "Arrowverse" starting with Arrow. On season 2. Now that I'm older, I think i enjoy these shows more for their campy schloch(sp?) then i used too. Or maybe I just kinda get it more and have fun making fun of it as we go along.

Watched The Bikeriders as well. I thought it was cool. I think that blonde guy did a good job. Hardy was maybe a touch over acting, but still good.

I made it about halfway thru Arrow....it started getting annoying when it got to the point where every episode someone was finding out Oliver was the Arrow. That seems to have become a common thing on superhero shows/movies. I was actually enjoying Superman and Lois until the same nonsense happened -- now it seems as if everyone in Smallville knows Clark is Superman....what's worse is that even Lex Luthor figured it out. Sheesh!!!

Man that's already happening. I admittedly made it through season 3 a long time ago and if I remember correctly, everybody knew who he was by that point. Haha

I understand though. It's far more difficult to keep things going on a show with a bunch of 1 hour episodes then a single 2 hour movie. The dude has to talk to someone. Haha

It was a send-up of the MCU. The whole movie was one big 'Shaggy Dog' joke.

I thought it was fantastic and Ryan Reynolds was pitch perfect.

Yeah I got what they were going for, it just didn't land for me. Spoofs/send-ups are difficult to pull off.
I've probably got over 100 Deadpool comics sitting on my shelf, I know what you can do with the character and this movie missed the mark for mine in what it was trying to do.
Obviously my take is different to a lot of people's, which is more than fine and good on them for getting the crowds to come, but I am very thankful I didn't hand over my hard-earned to see it at the cinema
