TV Movie Thread Part Iii

We are watching of late ....Reacher which I will give 3/5....she looked good in the hot scene .

Next....1923 which is overrated because of the Yellowstone factor thus a 2/5 . Taking forever for anything to happen !!!

On Call...4/5 ....I liked the show . Good cop show .

Long Bright River...it is not terrible but ...3/5.

Bosch Legacy....I'm on episode 5...5/5...it's Bosch !!! Always good stuff !

Dope Thief....not bad....3.5/5 lots of action and violent .

We love the Pitt....5/5 best show by far so far this Winter/Spring . Just watch it...riveting from start to finish !!!

Joan [female jewel thief] was a good British series....3.5/5 .

I also watched an Irish show on two sisters ....IRA drama/set in the early 70's ...I forget the name ....3.5/5 .

I've never had such a love/hate relationship with a show as I have with Billions. The first three seasons... I was ready to crown it in my top 3 of all time. Fast forward to the end of season 6 and I feel like it has become a meme. Season 4 was dreadful. Season 5 was worse. Season 6... the show has lost all its mojo.

I'm only going to finish it because I've invested this much time in it. But man... there was virtually nothing like the scene below once season 4 started.

Interesting. I think I got used to that form of filming with GoT. Doesn't really bother me.
Not sure where the "jumping around" in GoT occurred or if it even mattered as the storylines (to me) were easy to follow (could you mean there were too many story arcs?). Dune Prophesy is also guilty of that (a few of them I thought were needless)....what bothered me the most were the unexpected jumps into the past and back...I would have sworn a couple of times it happened in the middle of a scene.

GoT jumped between characters nearly every episode and forgot about characters for long stretches at a time. There were flashbacks there too (Three eyed raven, younger versions of Ned, etc...)

They don't really bother me in this show. To each his own I guess.
