Just FYI - I checked the NHL Network schedule and they have up to the 24th of December shown and it looks like their showing every single pre-tournament game from the bubble. I can only imagine that means they're showing every single game from the entire tournament on there since only one rink is being used.

NHL Network Schedule

I find it very cheap of NHL Network to be airing the TSN Broadcast for US games. In previous years they’ve had their own broadcast. I think the TSN guys are better announcers, but you don’t care about the broadcast if you are outsourcing it to a foreign broadcaster. We shouldn’t have to listen to an update during an intermission for our game of the practice for another country who we aren’t even scheduled to play in this tournament. I don’t blame TSN for that, considering their audience is Canada, but NHL Network should care more about their audience to have their own broadcast.

Is there away to watch on-demand games in the WJC? I assume most realistic are some illegal ways as there aren't even legal ways to watch live where I live.

Any tips? I just want to watch some hockey but the coverage sucks

Just speculating, but is it possible that the Canadian authorities would only allow one broadcasting team into the bubble? NHL Network may not have been given the opportunity this year.

So is every country using the TSN broadcast? I’m sure they could’ve sent a few production staff and called it off a monitor, if they didn’t want to travel to Edmonton. That’s probably what’s happening for most broadcasters in Europe.

I have no idea, like I said I was only speculating.

I would imagine that there are lots of restrictions that will reduce the number of media outlets permitted into the bubble.

Considering that all the on-ice officials are Canadians, I cannot see how broadcasters would be allowed to show up. My guess is they are all using TSN's pictures, and their announcers, etc., are working from a studio in their home countries. If refs/linesmen are not considered essential enough to be let into the country, I can't see broadcasters getting the exemption.

For those unaware, Canada is only allowing foreign nationals in if they are arriving for "essential" business.
