Since we are on the subject of Halloween/Samhain - here are some questions:

1) Have you ever experienced something supernatural, paranormal, whatever you want to call it?

2) Have you ever taken part in a seance or played on a Ouija board? Results?

3) Would you stay overnight in a reputed haunted house?

4) What is your favourite Halloween or scary movie?

5) Do you have a favourite Halloween-ish or ghostly cartoon?

1. No. Though on a couple of occasions thought I saw out of the corner of my eye a good friend who passed away, but I chalk it up to the mind tricking itself.

2. Yeah. It was stupid. The fact that some of the participants were moving the thing themselves was so obvious, I felt dumb just being there.

3. Sure. Why not?

4. Not a horror movie fan, outside of the Universal Classic Monsters. But if pressed, I'd say Silence of the Lambs.

5. No.

2. I haven't, but I would.

3. Honestly I probably would, but I'll tell you right now I'd struggle lol

4. Gotta be The Exorcist. Gotta be.

5. I feel like there was a Bugs Bunny Halloween themed cartoon that came out every year as a kid but I don't recall much other than some old witch on a broom....hmm will need to investigate
This one with Witch Hazel?

'UFO' videos declassified by US Navy

Three videos show unidentified aircraft flying at hypersonic speeds.

On Monday (April 27), the three clips — "FLIR," "GOFAST" and "GIMBAL" — appeared for the first time on the Naval Air Systems Command website, available to download through the Freedom of Information Act.

In releasing the videos, the U.S. Navy officially acknowledges that its pilots encountered so-called unidentified aerial phenomena, according to the military news website Military.com

1) Have you ever experienced something supernatural, paranormal, whatever you want to call it?
Several times ... including several unidentifiable flying objects.
Here's a quick fun story ... preteen years growing up in Foxboro around 1970 my friends and I would ride our bikes all over town. One summer their was an old abandoned house where the owner had died on Granite Street that we use to sneak into and rummage around the rooms. Nothing of worth just a lot of books, newspapers and other minor items. At the time it seemed pretty scary, being kids and all. Later that summer we were racing our bikes along the roads in Rockhill Cemetery. I came around a turn and heading up a hill when I somehow lost control of my bike. I went flying over the handlebars did a summersault and ended up in front of a tombstone. I looked at the name on the stone ... it was the same name as the guy who once owed that house. I got out of there quickly. Lol.

2) Have you ever taken part in a seance or played on a Ouija board? Results?
Yes as a young preteen who didn't know any better.
Nothing happened at the time, but knowing what I know now doesn't mean a doorway wasn't opened.

3) Would you stay overnight in a reputed haunted house?
I have twice ... in Cedar Key, Florida, the island hotel. Look it up online it's a famous haunted hotel.
I have a fun story about my first night there, too. Maybe I'll share another time.

4) What is your favourite Halloween or scary movie?
I don't really get into that type of movie as most have some sort of demonic theme and I try to avoid deliberately seeking out that sort of thing.
I do like the "Good Witch" TV series though, but that is more mysterious than scary.

5) Do you have a favourite Halloween-ish or ghostly cartoon?
Does original Scooby Doo count?

That would be fun! Years ago, my friend's boyfriend was the manager at an old style theatre - red velvet seats, balconies, etc., and they played Rocky Horror every weekend. I can't imagine how many times I have seen it.

That is what this place is like. It was restored many years ago. I've seen a few plays there, they do a great job.

1. yeah growing up my grandma's house was haunted. All harmless stuff like doors opening and footsteps in the hall, we just figured it was family members since she was the 5th generation to live in the house and the family built it.

2. nope, no desire to either. not gonna risk the whole "opening a portal" thing being accurate.

3. yup, stayed at the Stanley Hotel in Colorado. Was an awesome place and definitely a creepy vibe but the night itself was uneventful.

4. The Shining, House of 1000 Corpses, Salems Lot (1979) and It (the Tim Curry one)

5. cant think of one except for the Great Pumpkin

1. I haven't but my sister has. At the hospital where she works there is a ghost who haunts the place. She is a young woman who lost her baby. She haunts the hospital looking for the baby. The staff call her Mary. My sister has felt her presence more than once. She's not afraid of her apparently she's not that kind of ghost. She just says "Mary the baby isn't here" or "You still looking for the baby Mary?" and she disappears.

2. No I haven't nor will I. I don't want to know.

3. No, I'm a coward.

4. Army of Darkness- because it's funny as hell

5. Witch Hazel with Bugs Bunny

I'm not into Halloween at all, but I do try to watch the Halloween episode of MacGyver every year where he teams up with his arch nemesis Murdoch to rescue Murdoch's sister from HIT..... Homicide International Trust

It's so cheesy and 80s, it makes me laugh

One of my top 5 favorite shows when I was a kid. And there is only one MacGyver. I don't acknowledge the remake at all.

1) Yes, several times. The most memorable was in 2015 when we stayed at a 500 year old B&B in England. It was pitch black in the room, inky black, out in the country, no lights. I woke up at about 2:30 am and was so scared, didn't know why. I sat up in bed and out the corner of my eye, near the ceiling, I could see a sparkling light. I turned my head to look and it disappeared. I did this repeatedly but I could never look directly at it. I felt so calm though, like I was being protected. I went back to sleep, woke again an hour later, it was still there. In the morning, I looked around and there wasn't anything that could have made that light. It was wonderful and magical.

2) Yes, both. Ouija board was nothing, always felt others were pushing it. The seance was when I was in my teens and a bunch of us decided to try contacting Bruce Lee, asking for a sign. The power went out for about 15 mins and it scared the crap out of us. No idea if it was related but it was pretty scary.

3) I would not.

4) My favourites are The Shining and Poltergeist. I'm not a fan of the bloody type horror.

5) I used to love Casper cartoons with Nightmare the ghost horse (old ones) and Looney Tunes' Witch Hazel.

You ever have to pull over on a road trip to take a dump? I did that this past week. I was out of town for work and it's a 4 1/2 drive to the next town. I had to pull over on the highway about 200km away and run to the woods because I had no other choice.

Taking a #2 while making eye contact with Bison as they watch you is an absolute thrill. There's literally HUNDREDS of those big bastards on the commute. It's actually crazy.

I just figured you all needed to know that.

1. I have always been calorically challenged...my dad would squeeze me around my waist in a friendly manner and I would yell Stop It. About six months after he suddenly passed I was at work (data entry clerk) and we kept all the work at the back of the office. I had walked to the back of the room to pick up a batch of forms to enter. Someone grabbed me around my waist just like my Dad did and I loudly yelled Stop It. No one in my office looked at me or stopped working. . I waved to Heaven and said Hey Dad. Never happened since.

Also, my best friend/hockey bud is passed about a year ago. I keep smelling fragrances that I don't own..I miss her much.

2. No

3.Did once - no luck

4. The Bram Stoker Dracula book and Bela Lugosi Dracula movie - both scared the beejeeus out of me.. The movie is free on YouTube.

5. The Great Pumpkin and the Simpsons Tree Houses of Horror.

1) Have you ever experienced something supernatural, paranormal, whatever you want to call it?

I have not. My mother swears she 'felt' my great aunt (who I loved so hard, she was my childhood baby sitter) 'leave' once my grandmother got to the hospital. Now both my mom and sister think my grandfather leaves them dimes because they find them at hard points, and my grandfather used to always give us dimes. I think it's them drawing connections that don't truly exist, but I don't bring it up - why ruin it for them if they feel it?

2) Have you ever taken part in a seance or played on a Ouija board? Results?

3) Would you stay overnight in a reputed haunted house?

Yup, 100%.
4) What is your favourite Halloween or scary movie?

Pet Semitary still scares the crap out of me, I blame my sister making me watch it when I was 6 and we just lost a cat. Now? All of them, do not like horror, but The Shining is a top notch movie on top of great horror.

5) Do you have a favourite Halloween-ish or ghostly cartoon?
Does Scoobye Doo count?

Edit: I broke the quotes, then did my best.
