Stars couldn't connect on any of the gift PPs in the 1st, the Blues get a gift goal from the ref (illuminati conspiracy! :P), and Stars lose in OT. For playing last night and the Blues not giving them much, I'll take it.

Man I feel for Star fans tonight, how does a team Benn and Segin go 0-8 on the PP. Only people that should be happy tonight are the fans of both teams and that is just because the game is over and we are not forced to watch it anymore

No Spezza + no rest. Game should have ended 1-0 Stars.

This one Edmonton announcer needs to be fired for that horrific analysis of Perry's "crosschecks," when Perry didn't even have a stick.

I didn't hear it but the whole crew is awful. If it was during the game it was either Kevin Quinn or Drew Remenda.

I just rewound the Sportsnet broadcast. There was no mention of the word cross-check by either Quinn or Remenda during the live call or replays. What Oilers broadcast are you watching? Radio?

It might just be because I'm a fan of the worst team in the league at breaking the trap, but it really kills games. The refs don't call any of the obstruction on the dump/chase whatsoever. Wasn't that one of the major outcomes of the 2004/05 lockout?
