I hear what you're saying (except the part about him being a 2-way forward?), but calling a guy an offensive defenceman doesn't mean he can't play defence, it's just a description of where the player is going to make an impact in the pro game. Katic is decent in his own end in junior, but isn't projected to be a signficant force defensively: his positional awareness is only okay, and he can be easily muscled off the puck by forechecking forwards. And that's in junior: in a couple of yers, unless he fills out substantially, he's goign to have an even tougher time in his own zone. I'm not saying he'll be a PP specialist - he seems to have enough ability to play a regular shift, but the offensive zone is where he's going to earn his bread and butter.

RLR Mock Draft was just released today:
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/hockey/columnist/woodlief/2007-06-20-mock-draft_N.htm
Interesting to see that they have one of my 2nd round picks (Riley Nash) going 17th overall and my 3rd round pick (Nico Sacchetti) going 26th.
RLR seems to have alot of intresting picks in their mock draft
