Tsn Blackouts Mendes Wants Your Feedback

I just tried mine and was told my IP address is in Dorval Quebec. I am in Ottawa (Blackburn Hamlet) on Bell Fibe.

EDIT: I went there again and was told my IP Address is in Orleans Ontario. Much better.
If there's a discrepancy between where you think you are and what your IP address tells you, trust the IP address! You really are in Dorval Quebec. Can you hear the planes?

My location changer app to fool TSN in to thinking I was in Ottawa doesn't seem to work for it anymore, so I assumed TSN has been making some changes to their algorithm's to assess your location. Had to plunk down for Sportsnet Premium for out of market hockey after resisting as long as I could. I've tried so many free stream options out there and I have never been able to find a smooth enough experience to consider them reliable. Too much buffering, not loading, or cutting out regularly. I finally got fed up enough to pay the $21 a month or whatever the yearly works out to on average.

I checked this site... I figured for sure this was my issue but nope....I'm listed as being in the east end of ottawa

It hasn't happened to me in a while, a month maybe.

Noted on the way to contact them
I was blacked out on TSN5 last night. I checked that site and it reported my address correctly so.. its deeper than that. I will see what happens tonight and report back to them.

So I am watching in my basement tonight where I watch the game on an older Samsung that connects with a Bell streamer. So tsn is a channel I pay for.

Upstairs on my internet TV where I watch hockey on the tsn app, tonight it thinks I am not a subscriber even though I'm logged in

What a f***ing joke of a company

I was not able to watch the game last night. Cogeco kept saying I was in Hamilton and out of region. Couldnt watch on my phone, laptop or smart tv. I know this is a Cogeco issue, but it is frustrating when I pay for TSN and I cannot watch it because the ISP doesnt know where I actually am.

I have a similar issue and have given up trying to resolve it.

In my case I am in the Sens region using an IP provider on Bell infrastructure that reports me as being in Toronto.
If TSN was more forthcoming with information on how they are determining my location I am sure it could be resolved pretty readily.
Also a VPN does not help when connecting through a server in the Sens region.

I can work around it but I am not impressed that this issue has been explained to them , you have a very similar underlying issue and I am sure many others do as well.. Why they do not want to work towards a more wide spread solution I cannot explain.
