On the radio driving homeward bound put tsn 690 and heard Gord Miller saying the season is 1/4 of the season done. Does he not know how many games there are in a season? My passengers and I were gobsmacked.

Heard earlier was clips with Marty, the more I hear him the more he sounds like he has no idea what he's doing. It's still a boys club and sure looks like it has descended and encapsulated the players as well. It's just a way to make living, don't matter if win or lose, just make the money. No more pride, and the try to win at all costs mentality is long gone, just a business through and through.

What are you talking about? MSL doesn't need the money, Hughes doesn't need the money. Gorton might be the only one who would care about the money.

Win at all costs mentality got us the worst on ice product in the entire NHL with minnesota and Arizona throughout the entire 21st century.

This current roster is the worst on ice product I can remember,AIAEC
Who cares they are rebuilding, my point is going for it every year got us trotting out David Deharnais and Max Paciorrety as our 2 best forwards for a decade what are we talking about , how you can be mad at a rebuild is beyond me if you're a fan who's had to watch the garbage we've had on the ice for 30 years.

At least Suzuki and Caufield don't have stone hands like every single player we've had since Kovalev and Koivu. I'm happy to have them and also happy to finish bottom 5 this year

Gui-Gui taking a break from his broadcast duties. Depression set in and he mentioned that it stems from his numerous concussions.

690 be alright if they mixed their guests up. Have the same ones over and over. Aaron Ward, McGuire, Gord Miller, Marc Denis. They good guests but hear all the time gets redundant.

Bernstein I like. Marco good guest also.

When has Marco D’amico been on? I used to catch him last season on Habs’ pre-game shows and as a regular guest on BPM.

The station would be hard to listen to without the guests. They've always had good ones, especially in the morning and drive home show. I'm listening this morning and they had Andre Roy on and he was hilarious. I hope they have him on again and not just on the weekend. They do definitely miss Nilan's contacts. Say what you want about him as a host, but he knew people and was good about getting big names on his show.

I miss Bob MacKenzie though. If he was asked a question and didn't know, he'd just say that he didn't know. They ask Dreger a question and he goes into this long spiel of vague hand-wavey statements and after he's done, you understand that he has no f-ing idea. I don't mind him, but he's not Bob.

G'day, all ok there in Montreal? I ask because I gave the radio station an ear and heard a Hydro-Quebec spot telling consumers to be careful on how and when to use electricity or it might cut out. That seems rather worrisome if local and unacceptable as is Quebec not a major producer of electricity, thought they were anyways. Does it go off often? What's the problem there? It's not a third world nation is it or did it get that bad since last time we visited. I remember last time visiting parts of downtown looked war-torn and that was just last year. Good idea to get a powerful generator just in case of outages.

Did bell stop offering TSN690 and the other TSN radio stations on their satellite TV service?

Bell cut some radio stations from their programming, which started today Nov 19th, and I now no longer get TSN 690 or TSN 1050 Toronto and they're not even listed in my guide anymore, so it looks like they cut these 2 radio channels from their programming options and if so I'm not to happy about it.

Anyone with Bell satellite still getting these 2 radio stations today? Maybe I just need to re-sync my channels from my Bell account? :dunno:

With their yearly price increases (2 increases one year) and them cutting channels from the programming that I'm currently paying for without really adding anything to replace these channels that's also gonna happen for me very soon it looks like.
yup
they are way over priced. bell needs to charge more to keep 690 going and give jimmy g-string more money.

I have Bell Fibe and searched for TSN and only got the channels, but no idea if I ever got it before.

Though the radio section was always free.
