Since Madison Square Garden Company now owns The Forum, doesn't that mean the Rangers can technically charge the LA Kings/AEG rent?

The Forum hasn't had ice making capabilities for a long time now. The church that owned it ripped all that out years ago. All the shower facilities were also removed.

All the rinks in SoCal have ice issues, it's gotten worse recently. TSC should have it's own generators though, doesn't a solar company advertise with the Kings?

I REALLY doubt solar would put out the wattage needed to maintain an ice rink, unless they bought a couple plots of land nearby and wired it all up... Solar is great, but limited to a maximum per square foot, then further reduced by the weather and season.

Does Jerry Brown know this? I'm worried ice hockey may be outlawed in California.

Wow, and some of those tele-evangelists could really use a shower.

Maybe they should go on the road early
Take a bus to Bakersfield and practice there
Then back on the bus to Fresno for another practice
Then on to SJ for practice and a game.

I agree but a company like the Kings that has access to sponsors like solar companies who would put solar panels on the roof for free if they can advertise couldn't hurt. If you know the power situation is not good in that area somebody should have been proactive and installed generators in the parking lot (probably for free if they can advertise) years ago. I think some rinks in SoCal have their own generators so TSC should as well. Of course that doesn't guarantee good ice since the de-humidifiers are broken, or they refuse to lower the AC to battle outside temps or the zamboni is broken or the person driving the zamboni doesn't know what they're doing.

Buy about 100 of these, link them together and you should have plenty of power for the rink . Although charging your cell might crash the entire thing, so you might want to avoid that.

Do the Madison Square Garden people think that the Earth is flat?

our rink is beyond terrible, and its closing in like 4 months :(

I only played there once, like a year ago... But I didn't remember it being THAT bad. Been to way worse rinks.
I mean all the random ri ks in socal look like a 90s time capsule.

Housing developments have been planned for forever and it's finally happening, plus the rink in Goleta just opened last month.
