Good effort and of course I don't agree with all of it but frankly I like most critics also don't put in the time.

It didn't surprise me to see only 2 Canucks but Karlsson was the second one at 170 and not Rathbone?

Good list! That takes courage.
I’d probably have Slafkovsky higher but I don’t think it’s that wild ranking Wright above him.
The issue for me is having 18 players in between, including Lambert, Savoie, Perfetti, Zelleweger, Bordeleau, Miroschnichenko, Eklund.

Slafkovsky has his question marks too, but these guys have far greater IMO. Almost all of these guys are small perimeter players. Many of which were drafted the same year and far lower in the average rankings (in the actual draft too!).

Slaf Vs Wright is one thing, but neither is ahead of Power IMO. I'd even have Edvinsson and Beniers as clearly ahead right now.

Good effort overall! Always fun to discuss different opinions.

Thanks! I’ve sounded horns on what I think Slaf will be in my rankings and other threads as well which is at best a second line scoring winger. I wouldn’t put that ahead of the players I had listed, and I could very well be wrong but that’s the fun of these predictions.

To me a complimentary 2nd line winger is probably is floor. I agree some fast and skilled guys like Savoir might end up better point producer, but their floor is much much lower imo

That’s obvious. One has been a great AHL player. Turcotte has been underwhelming and oft injured. They are the same draft class.
Huge Pelletier fan by the way, and I think he’ll be a great player. However it’s more of my adoration for Turcotte that sees him above. Firstly, centres are the apple of my eye in terms of positional value, especially if you are an all situations player like Turcotte. The speed, playmaking, poise, he has a great package of skill. Some players take longer to put it together and in my projection I’ll take a 2nd like center over a 2nd line winger.

Sure, but I don’t see a world where Savoie doesn’t stick. I have his floor higher than most, he has too much skill to not make an NHL top six. Slafkovsky could easily turn into a middle six winger in my estimation, I think he’s likelier to do that than he a force in the league. That’s why I have him where I do and he’ll have to prove me otherwise.

Yes I get where you're coming from. I don't have the same opinion, but it's not like 20th prospects in the world is bad.

What's your take on Mailloux? Seems like he's boom or bust , but I feel like he could be an impactful dman if he can polish his game (positioning, gap control, game management)

Oft-injured, I don't think thats a good reason to prefer a clear worse player to a clear better player, but to each their own.

Underwhelming, that simply isn't true. Turcotte is a great AHL player also. You can't blame him that LA Kings have no clue how to develop forward prospects.

I sure can.

He’s not developing and Pelletier sure is. Turcotte is a blah AHL player. Which is borne out in his lack of production and ice time. Pelletier has been far better at this level.

If 2019 Is redrafted again, Turcotte probably isn’t even going in the top 40 picks.

So you ignored everything I said. He’s been a great AHL player.

Turcotte would be in the first five picks by anyone who judges players in a vacuum, which this discussion is, and doesn’t put too much into tired narratives or team usage of their prospects through three seasons. If Turcotte was gifted the roles others were and didn’t have such bad injury luck, you’d be signing a different tune. It usually evens out eventually. Your hot take was completely uncalled for.
