Decided I'd make my own drafted prospects list like previous years with the theme of other releasing. Parameters are 2018-2022 drafted players with the rookie eligibility (max 25 GP). No goalies.

Keep in mind that there's a ton of names and I may have missed one or two but this is based on my opinion and own rankings from viewings. If you have any 2022 Draft questions (yes I had a wild list compared to consensus) here' the link to my writeups on these players: Tryamkin's Final 2022 Draft Rankings Guide

Good list! That takes courage.
I’d probably have Slafkovsky higher but I don’t think it’s that wild ranking Wright above him.

interested if you guys would share the same opinion if he went 1st overall. regardless of the draft position i’m still projecting him as the best player on the list- his defense will be incredibly valuable.
I just think that prospects who are older and further developed should be ranked higher and some of them had really great D+1 season. I also believe that Wright has way more question marks then the players you put lower then him.

Personally I would start placing the 2022 draft picks at the 9 to 11 range.

Good job, tough exercise to go that deep.

For me

Too High:
Wright, Savoie, Johnson, Quinn, Lambert

Too Low:
Clarke, Guhle, Rossi, Ostlund, Pinto

That’s a fair take however as I emphasize strongly in my draft rankings, I rank these players based on how I think things will shake out in 10 years. Obviously there’s variation and exception among other conditions that can change their position, but I believe Wright will be the best player of the bunch so he’s at the top and so forth. Same reason why my 2022 Draft class looks so weird in this list, they’re listed where I project them.

Jeremy Roy lol
Probably just my internal self wishing Jeremy Roy panned out… he was a bright talent. Regardless I’m a big fan of Joshua Roy.

Great job on the list! Nice to see Jay O'Brien listed. There are few guys I pull for more.

(I believe Jordan Spence is RD)

Your rankings make the most sense. Players with the highest upside in the future.
Power and Beniers are the only ones I'd really consider over Wright.

Nice to see Gritsyuk get some love here (NJ prospect) Id say he is pretty damn close to Holtz as far as depth chart for Devils prospects goes.

You wouldn't consider Slafkovsky ? Half of NHL scouts had him ahead of Wright, many journalist/freelance scouts too(if not the majority)

Thanks for the list …it’s always interesting reading these. What’s your opinion of

Oskar Olausson potential?

Turcotte is way too high. He’s ahead of Pelletier? Based on what? Not hockey.

Lane Hudson over Knies. That’s another big head scratcher.

perfetti is too high. Othmann too low.

He's good, but I think Wright should've gone 1st overall.
