Trouba with another high hit on Kyrou

Agreed but in this incident down by 5 Trouba should have just crosschecked some guy after the whistle instead of going for a head hit here. Hopefully we can agree on that part as well
I was only responding to the post insinuating Ducks fans should be mad at the trade now when personally I am definitely not and I bet most agree with me. He’s perfect for our group. A solid veteran RHD who plays mean. His contract means nothing to me as it will never impact our team negatively and I don’t pay the bills.

As for the hit seems unnecessary but that’s what he does. I won’t be suprised with a game or 2.

He simply missed his check and caught the head. Does not look intentional to me but I guess the benefit of the doubt train has left the station a long time ago when it comes to Trouba. Well he probably missed that as well.

Agreed. But for the bolded part; once you start having to you’ll see how easy it was now.

I don’t think I’ll ever have to pay the salaries for my favourite team. If I do then I’ll be holding open tryouts for HF members and will pay in McDonalds Coupons.

Lol, have a good one!

A classic Trouba: Always try to get as much elevation when hitting as possible. Make sure you get some incidental head contact if you can't take the head off clean.

Also angled at like 45 degrees so he can really maximize the head trauma he’s dishing out. f***in dumbass goon, I don’t care what good work your wife does or whatever, if all you can do is hurt people- it ain’t bullying to say you f***in suck, as an NHLer and a human, Jacob.

When someone finally does something dirty to him, it's a debate whether to give it the Top Gear "Oh no, anyway" and the Seinfeld "That's a shame" first.

That's my thinking. If it were anybody else, I would say it was just a bit awkward, but we know this guy hits to hurt.

0 problem with the hit, except that it hit a guy on my team and that part isn’t my favorite.

If you’re carrying the puck in the ozone you are eligible to be hit.

It’s their zone.

Blindside hits rarely look great but when the initial and primary contact is shoulder on shoulder/chest then it’s good.

Players elevate into hits often. It’s advantageous to hit high, so long as you remain legal, because you’re more likely to separate the player from the puck.

No defense wants opposing wingers to be comfortable in their zone. It is their job to make things as difficult as the rules allow.

Legal hit on an eligible puck carrier. No injuries occurred. Notable because Trouba sure does commit. Good times and onto the next game.

Oh look, a terrible human being who consistently intends on hurting people performs another dirty act simply designed to hurt someone,

I for one am shocked.

Oh look, hockey fans that are clearly missing essential brain cells are defending said act.

I for one am shocked.
lmao . right on target

Thought it could've been charging but he caught enough of Kyrou's shoulder to avoid a hit to the head call.

Thoughts?

A solid bodycheck was there for the taking but instead of that, Trouba intentionally aims for the head with his shoulder and leaves his feet while doing it. How the hell is this not a suspension?
