Keep in mind that Kane requested a trade every summer. This might get ugly, but Chevy isn't a GM that gives in easily.

He can but the statement clearly says that he wants to be a RD. If he wanted to be LD he'd stay in the Peg.
 
Oh boy. Will the jets get more value for him than the Devils got for Larsson?

I bet he'll get Drouin'd though. A lot of fuss, but he'll still be a jet for a while.

Jets being cheap? Or he asking for tr moon? With that massive big Buf contract I wouldn't be surprised if they were pressuring him to take a "team friendly" deal
 
As much as I want Trouba on the Oilers, I wouldn't give up RNH for him. Which seems like the most likely basis for a trade.
 
Well, the rumours have been floating for over a year. Where there is smoke...Mad but not surprised given who his agent is.
 
Trade Meyers+ for LD and the problem is solved.


We had the same problem with Buf wanting to play D and we just put him there to keep him happy.
 
Meh. My money is he signs with the jets before the season openor. We've seen this movie already with Hamonic and Drouin.
 
Too be honest, i hope the Jets don't trade him and let him sit on his coach all season long.

I disllike when young players request trades.
 
Makes me curious about that chatter the Bruins had about signing him to an offer sheet.
