Last season the Smith - McCarron - Sherwood line had three guys that had the. speed to pressure, win board battles, then go straight to the net and generate 30+ goals as a unit. L'Heureux filled in well but the bulk of the season has been 2/3 of a line and it shows. Up and down the line Bruno struggles ... 30+ games to move away from Fil - Ror - (winger to be named later, usually Gus) ... not grasping that Smith - McCarron - other guy needs the right fit and it can't just be some random player to catch lightning in a bottle.

The Fil - RoR - Gus line worked great last season but it was three players all putting up career seasons and unlikely to repeat ... which we saw. Bruno then pigeon holed Stammer to the wing for 20+ games. Where he sucks is assessing and matching talents based on who he has, not what he preconceived.
