Ya, I didn’t see that either. Because Cafu was also on those three squads. And, he played in 94.

Nope

As Gary said, it's Littbarski
Played the 82 and 90 Final, was an unused sub in 86
Mattheus was selected in 82, 86 and 90.

And another one :
Which team(s) is/are unbeaten away in the top 5 leagues as of early this week?
Hint : Italian team

New trivia :
Without looking it up obviously, which country has the most Ballon d'or winners are give their names.

I never quite understood why Beckenbauer benched Liitbarski in the latter stages of 1986 and still remain convinced that Germany would have won the final if he had brought on Litti instead of Hoeness. Too much of the building phase went through Jakobs after that and Littbarski was better than him for that role.
Hoeness was on his last legs by then and should have stayed on the bench.

At least Beckenbauer corrected his mistake regarding Littbarski at the 1990 finals, but I would have very much liked Rummenigge winning the WC.

As for Matthaus, while he is also correct answer according the criteria superficially (being part of the 1982, 1986 and 1990 squads), I think in the 1982 final he wasn't actually named on the bench amongst subs. Remember that back then subs had to be named as well, and not everyone on the squad was thus able to come on during a match.

But I might be wrong on that and I'd have to check on that (and can't be bothered now). Maybe Power Man did check this already before making the question.
