Three way deal (as a base)

Calgary : Travis Konecny
St. Louis : Noah Hanifin (extension)
Philly : TOR 1st + DAL 1st 2023
Would get rid of the middle team. Cal first at 16th way better than 2 late 1sts from StL.

from StL i would ask their own 10th oa pick and a cap dump for TK and Fla 1st 24.

We’re in no position to trade picks. We need to acquire first and seconds even if they are a year or two out.

I wouldn’t trade TK unless a prime piece is in return, but I also don’t think you need to trade everyone and suck completely cause it’s a lottery.

You need players like TK.

Perfect sell high guy.
Haters will point out lack of playoff production…

Really, whats not to like?

give me 2 young prospects i like (c and rd por favor) + a 2nd rounder and he’s yours to enjoy. Hope he wins a Cup.

Hoping for Mike Richards type return: Schenn, Simmonds and a 2nd.
Hoping for B Schenn type return: Frost and Farabee
Hoping for Carter type return: Voracek, (1st) Couturier and (3rd) Cousins
Those are all some insane returns

Carter + Richards set the flyers up strong. If they had been managed better and gotten a good goalie they would have contded deeper 2011-2020 period

Reclamation project? Thats a stretch.
Hart’s low point was 2021. Been improving on that next 2 seasons on a bad team.
Buf, Cal, Edm, LA, Mtl, Ott, Pit, Sea, StL, Tor, Vegas would improve with Hart and his numbers would improve on most of these teams.
If you look at where Hart was coming out of the bubble performance and that season as a whole, versus where the last three seasons have gone yes he is a reclamation project. Bad team or not he hasn't been anywhere close to the 2.4 GAA or .914 save% he had in 19-20. His best season was this past at 2.94 and .907. Not to mention if I am another team I'd be worried about his lack of confidence after playing with the team he has over the last three years.

do you think that value and that confidence gets better or worse if he plays the 2023-2024 season as a member of the Philadelphia Flyers
I don't think it can get any worse. Considering he doesn't turn 25 until August and that a goalies prime often last longer than a skater he is the one guy for the Flyers in his mid to late 20's I would probably keep through the rebuild.

People refuse to see it but Steve Mason was pretty good for them from 13-17 on 1 line teams. Then Hart had to come in in 18 when all their goalies + those acquired broke down.

The Bob-Bryzgalov fiasco did set them back but the only year they played together Bryz had better numbers. Year before Bob barely outplayed Boucher. Bryz was 52-33-10 overall in Philly, not to bad. Bob 42-23-10, kind of similar.

Hart had a much better season this year than the previous two years, I wouldn't lump the last three seasons together. Scoring is also up league wide, his .907 save percentage is 15th this season among sarters, the same same stat would be tied for 19 and 20 in the 19-20 year where he ranked 13th with .914.

Just for value and fantasy land stuff.

:panthers

Kinnunen (RD) 24 year old prospect who went half a point per game in rookie AHL season. Could be ready for NHL in 2024-25.

2023 2nd

Duclair (some cash going back, he has a year left @$3 million and you could flip him for picks if you retain a bit?)
He could likely net a 2nd IMO at deadline if $1.5 mil cap and he goes off for another 20+ goal, 50+ pt season.

I don’t think that’s enough.

An obvious trade seems to be something around Marner for Konecny and Provorov. Not sure who adds. Philly gets a young superstar and Leafs get grit on the top line and a solid top pair dman to play with Rielly for once

Marner at 26 (like TK) is too old for their rebuild. They are looking for future superstars. Or a couple of prospects who become decent top 6 players for years.

As a Devils fan it’s hard to like Flyers players but I will say I really like Konecny and his game . Devils/ Flyers trade will never go down but I’d like to somehow get him . Maybe a deal where Flyers trade him to one team and that team flips him right after lol .
