The start of the season before Zub got hurt was only two games +2 mins of a 3rd game, Fla and Mtl, so not much of a sample, They got clobbered in Florida, but had respectable numbers against Mtl despite the team not being great.
Okay guess I am imagining things. I think it was just assumed that Hamonic and Kleven would be bad then because of what happened to Sanderson’s game, but all I remember is they turned out fine.

Reason I'd like to see JBD play more is it'll improve his decision-making. Kleven has been given the benefit of the doubt despite some awful pinches, but hey that's a part of the development curve. Just wish JBD would get some more leash as he can get better but with Hammer, what we have is kinda all there is.
That's fair. That's my own assessment of them, but I also think the way they've handled JBD indicates their feelings about him as a player/prospect and I don't think they see much there, but I could be wrong.

I agree.

There is not much there with JBD. He plays a passive, non-physical game most of the time. No opponent forward fears him. He lacks offensive puck-handling and skating abilities. He is a low cost 3rd pairing D that is easily replaceable.

Hopefully Yak is ready at the start of next season or for the playoffs this season. :)

Filling in admirably. But sits when Zub is back. Honestly a great depth player for injury situations
