Day has absolutely no idea where he's skating but I'll be damned if it's not beautiful. Twice he ended up next to his partner on the boards in the o-zone :help:

Really hard to get a good feel for the game with these camera angles but I guess it's better than nothing
I can barely see anything aside from a number here and there, then I try to just focus on that player for the shift since I know who it is lol.

Chytil looks good. He knows where to go. Howden is involved. Like his game. I know Hajek has had some rough moments but more good than bad. He's involved. All the bad is just rust.
I like Crawley as a prospect. He's not flashy but can keep up and maybe make a good 5-6 in the future. Anderson was opportunistic.

I expect a little more from Ronning. He was the best player for the Rangers last year. Did Day play? He's just kind of there. Gettinger looked rough except for when he got in on the cycle.

It's only one period so let the novellas commence.

Definitely some rust, but Chytil & Andersson are looking really good out there. Honorable mentions to Howden, Hajek, Nell & Meskanen. They’re making stuff happen.

Day is a phenomenal skater, but slows down in the O-zone. Ronning is involved, but needs to show a little more as the game goes on.

All-in-all not bad. Hoping for some more offense this next period!!

Hajek just scored on a nice one timer on the PP. He's looking very confident except for the one shift he had where he made an egregious turnover, then had his stick break and then took a holding penalty.
