I've liked the Robertson-Keane pairing, especially that one shift where they both did a good job controlling the puck along the point. Skinner has been kinda dumb and made some lazy plays, but he's a stash-and-see prospect anyways.

The biggest surprise to me is seeing Henriksson's speed translate this well to the smaller rink. He's got a long stride for a smaller dude, but he's shown some really good acceleration and shiftiness to move around the ice. Reunanen and Zerter-Gossage both had a strong period too.

thought Fox was really good too...one bad giveaway, but he looked very confident out there.
He was uneven IMHO. Some good and some not so great. His awareness of what's going on behind him was a little poor... Guys kept sneaking behind him and he never seemed to realize it.

He's been terrible...I didn't even think he looked good early to be honest...his shot control on easy saves was poor.

Before people roast me... Yes it's a prospect tournament... Yes I get that it doesn't really matter.. but yes you're also allowed to observe what you're seeing here.

I've liked 51s game so far...thata about it tbh.

I think Reunanen stays in North America and plays in the AHL. i feel he is an underrated prospect in my opinion.

I’ve still seen more that I like than I dislike.

-I think the defense has been as good as advertised. Fox is super poised with the puck. Robertson a big presence. Keane is moving his feet. I think Reunanen showed great poise and so forth.

-Henriksson is so impressive — with his puck poise — no matter what environment he is in.

But he still got some growing to do. He can look so quick and agile in many situations, but there was a good example on one back check where a forward left him like 10 feet’s behind him. That type of speed is not his biggest strength. He is much younger than just about everyone on the ice and it will come.

-Kravy just didn’t came right into the situations. But that is just hockey. And especially a winger. You can’t just go deep and fetch the puck and skate 8s around everyone. You need to play well as a unit and execute on all the small plays, then you will get 4-5 situations per game to shine in. It’s so easy to try to do too much with too little.

But it will come. I actually think that line suffered the most from Newell trying to do too much. Should just put a scrub there who will hand the puck over to the others.

-When we value what we see in this tournament, like I just think it’s very very hard to understand just how big of a gap there is between what our team is trying to do and what the optimal way would be.

To win in hockey you must get a few basic things. Nobody is focusing on them here. Players don’t know each other, have no chemistry and so forth. To win you should play extremely careful and don’t risk anything. Not that CBJ is doing that, but it’s just so much small marginal etc.
