... there are still things like this and the things that the NHL blacks out that can't be watched without a cable package. I don't feel entitled to the content but I'm not happy with the options to access it and that is not an unreasonable thing

i get your point, but i don't think its reasonable to expect that a low-profile, niche event like this oughta be available, for whoever, by the portals and economics they prefer.

i am not defending cable companies, but as a cable subscriber today, and for decades, i have long accepted that there is always content that is behind paid, restricted access

You likely have friends\family who do subscribe to cable packages which include FSGo.
Maybe i am wrong, but, I believe anyone, at least domestically in USA, who really wants to, will find a way to watch

i checked livetv.ru but they're not streaming the game.

Onhockey has what I think is a link to one of the team sites (NHLvideo) and it's giving me a "this content is blacked out in your region" message. Can't find anyone on twitter from Minny or Dallas who's able to watch the thing. My guess is it's blacked out in my region and everyone else's region, too
