If you get a chance, there's a place called Snooze in Denver it self. Great, great breakfast place

ah ok. well literally be there tues just to get off the plane and grab the car and off we go up to the mountains.

we will def give it a looksee when we get back to denver before we fly home.

leaving a week from today for denver.

6 days skiing breckenridge and keystone. feb was the highest snow total ever. 8 ft

dont even ski east anymore. CNY stuff too boring and vermont just too crowded and icy.

naples/marco/miami end april is next trip after that for some fishing and relaxing.

and then Cabo- one of my favorite destinations anywhere, end nov.
Wife is from Denver, we lived there together for years. If you need any suggestions, LMK. In particular, regarding food & drink (craft beer is my specialty but I have a handful of go-to cocktail bars).

Someone above suggested "Snooze" for brunch. I agree, great spot though it's become a bit "mainstream" (and crowded - wait times can be >1hr on weekends). I also have an impression that quality has gone down the last couple years, but that might be in my head.

EDIT: nvm, just saw your above post about not spending much time in Denver.

This past December was in Kazan, Russia with the U17’s. We beat Russia in Russia to win the 4 Nations Tournament. 6-rip. Pretty surreal experience. One of the coolest things is I get to stand on the bench as the team doc.

2018, I was in Argentina. 16 days. No English. Southern most tip of the world outside of Antarctica in a town called Ushuaia. Wonderful. Then Christmas morning flew to Calafate for some glacier hunting. Just amazing. Kayaked next to Perito Moreno. Outstanding food. First time in SA.

Highly recommended.

anyone have any of their trips cancelled? past 3 years ive done a beach house trip with my extended fam. did Nags Head OBX, Sandbridge Virginia Beach, and just did Fenwick Island DE. Next summer we decided that we'd like to go to Ireland. Going to be interesting to plan a 10-14 day trip with a lot of people.

We canceled our Aruba trip this year. Too much hastle. But will probably fly to St. Thomas as it is a US territory and from what I see, not really an issue.

Fingers crossed for Paris next year.

I had to cancel a trip to visit a friend in Texas in March. 2 weddings (one in Maryland and one in Texas) were cancelled for this year and rescheduled for next year.

Loved Paris. Went consecutively in fall 2018 and 2019.

My last trip took me through Turin & Barcelona(before hockey in Finland) at the end of February/beginning of March just before everything kicked off. Asides from skiing/footy(at a largely empty stadium)/hockey I stayed in my room, followed protocols like I had OCD.

Haven’t been anywhere beyond my house, the supermarket (or the patio of my local) since, not going anywhere until there’s a vaccine. I’d have to quarantine for 2 weeks just to see my Mom, so what’s the point?

I’m just hoping the euroleagues figure out a way for me to pay for games beyond the KHL.

Are you looking to do a structured tour or plan yourself? The first time i went was in 2000, we rented a house for 2 weeks and did our own touring. It worked but mostly because we had family to guide us. I've never done the full tours in Ireland but have done them in other countries and they worked well. I think it's all whether you have local connections or not.

i guess both. im not into tours but it seems as the rest of the fam is into tours. i stayed with family when i was there as a kid in 94 but i dont think thats gonna be a thing this time around. 26 years is a long time...

So far I have been:

All over California
All over Oregon
All over Washington
Las Vegas
New York City
New Jersey
All over British Columbia
All over Alberta
All over Saskatchewan
All over Hong Kong
Bangkok, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, Chiang Mai, etc in Thailand
All over Cuba
All over Mexico

Spend a lot of time in California, and have been on 4 2-week trips to Thailand. Those are definitely my two favorite places. My parents have travelled a lot more than me, throughout Europe & The Middle East but nothing there strikes my interest much. I love East Asia and would like to visit Japan & Singapore next. I’m also interested in travelling through South America

Rented a house in the Berkshires last week. Used a rental car to get there. It was our first time out of Brooklyn since early March. So needed.

Wife has business in Jakarta in October. Tentative plan is to meet her in Bali afterward for some R&R. Jakarta is a mess right now. Bali is doing great. We'll see.

I'm planning to go to Tokyo, Hong Kong and Macau in October. I have no fear about going to either of those places but I wouldn't be surprised if they're not allowing Americans in yet.

Wife and I are discussing Tokyo or Seoul as an alternative to Bali in October. Japan and South Korea have things nicely under control. Bali is opening up to foreign tourists beginning September but with "clean bill of health" paperwork. It's a good point about restrictions specific to travelers originating from the US.

Lisbon & Porto. With a day trip to Sintra. Porto one of the most beautiful places that I have ever been to.

I went to Lisbon in 2007 but didn't get to Porto. But, like you said, it's beautiful there.
