About friggin time bruins talk speed. No more Backeseses and JVRs. Speed and tough to play against.

It is. But I'm still not seeing a roster built to play fast hockey. All the will in the world won't get you there on this one. You need the right talent and sheer athletic ability. Would love to be proved wrong though - let's see how they shape up.

Didn't notice speed being an issue with Braz. Moved quite well for his size and better than advertised IMO.
Agreed, I was very surprised when I first saw him up here, I think he is "efficient" meaning that he is able to read plays and be in the right spot, so his speed becomes less of a problem. Maybe on the backcheck he's a bit slow, but wingers are generally the high guys defensively anyway.

“If there are holes … I don’t think so,” Sweeney mused here during the annual rookie tournament that wrapped up Monday with Boston’s kids delivering a 6-4 win over New Jersey’s freshmen. “Not at the stage we’re at.”

LOL, Korpi and Bussi in net and no established 2 RW, but no holes.

I would love to live in Sweeney's world.
I like they left a hole for a young kid to play for.
Think this team will look real slick when Sway signs.
Curious if anyone will pluck Bussi off waivers tho, depending on how he plays

Brazeaus ability to put the puck under the bar in tight and his uncanny strength and size should keep him on the roster. We will see. He looks like he can score. Small sample size. But his ability to strong arm his way to the middle and put the puck under the bar is something not a lot of guys have.

Hoping his strong game was more than adrenaline

I agree but I think his fate will be determined by how many (if any) of the kids step up, and if the "heavy" line of Beecher-Kastelic-Jones is actually a thing. If it is and 2 of the kids like Poitras and Lysell crack the roster then Brazeau might be odd man out.

The only way Brazeau does not make this team out of camp is if one of Lysell or Merk totally wow the coaches.
I think Jones makes the team on the 4th line and Lysell starts the year on the roster on that line with Beecher at Center.
13th forward is Johnson and 7th dee is Wotherspon

You appear to have missed Kastellic who will be a regular on the 4th line. I think Brazeau gets stapled to Poitras and probably Frederic on the third line unless they try Frederic on line two RW
