I like Belangers defensive role. But I would like him to generate some more offense than he did last year as I'm sure everyone would.
It doesn't get talked about a lot but this team was pretty bad when it came to secondary scoring last year. Pretty much any time someone under 22 years old wasn't scoring last year they were in big trouble. That can't happen again if they want to have a successful season.

Yep there were wayyy too many games where if the kids didnt get it done then no one did.

Sam Gagner had stretches of 4, 6, 4, 6, and 7 games where he didnt register a point. If he can improve his consistancy, which has been his biggest problem to date, the team should be much better.

Or if Horcoff can finish the season better than he did last season when he had 4 points in his final 22 games while only being a plus player twice in that span it would help.

Hemsky looked like he would rather be in detention than playing hockey on most nights last year as well. Hopefully the addition of two more rookies and their enthusiasm will infect some of the vets

For those wondering, the Subban discussion has been moved to the trade proposal thread.

I've really liked Pajaarvis game in OKC, he's scoring at a high rate than he was last year all while being more physical. Makes no sense just to hand Jones' spot to Hartikainen.

Does Paajarvi crack the opening night line-up?

I think it has been stated somewhere that only 1 F and 1 D are getting sent back down. Which will most likely be VV and Teubert but I guess that all depends on how TC goes and who decides to show up. I could be wrong about that though?

Ya we're supposed to be going with 14 F and 7 D to start the year
