Wallstedt stopped 39 of 41 shots last night, and looked calm doing it. No flopping around, and his anticipation and control going side to side was noticeably better than in the past - i think he is getting stronger, making for better push offs. Also was guarding against bad angle shots better, which was a weakness in the past.

Final GA was in the last seconds off a botched D zone FO coverage by the Wild, so he was something like 1 goal on 40 shots till the final minute.

Otherwise, no one looked great for MN. Daemon Hunt and Chisholm looked competent. Bankier, too. Lauko was a decent energy guy. Lambos was up and down. Ritchie just looks way too young for this level.

Besides Iafallo and Villardi, who you'd expect to be good, Yager looked ok... still needs more strength, but you can see that he's a smart, skilled player. Namestnikov looked vg. Chibrokov a bit less so, but still one of the better players on the ice. I liked Barron at times, and Barlow scored on a fast shot release. Salomonsson looked good at times...he's got talent. Lambert - you can see the skill and tools. Liked Julien as low down in the line up, big bodied, grinder. Sadly, Shaw looked slow. all of those knee injuries are taking speed away from a guy who didn't have it to lose.
