Based on all the seasons where he didn't shoot 25%.

He's still a top 5 (3?) defensive winger in the league who averaged 33G/76P per 82 the prior 2 seasons. He is essentially what Stone was when he signed.

Actually Reinhart is probably worth about $7.5-8M, so it's not a terrible deal.

Let's just not call it a steal and compare him to Nylander.

Absolutely agree, I don’t think it’s a steal by any means. I think a little overpayment by Florida.

Okay, so I was correct. Nylander is miles better than Reinhart. Reinhart will not replicate 50+ goals again lol

You should pay attention to the rest of the league if you think Nylander is miles better than Reinhart.

I really hope Tre is able to sneakily get Lindholm done. We badly need a 2nd line center who can play in any situation. There won't be another one in their prime available via UFA until 2026.

I'm not against Duchene. A fast playmaker who can play on the rush in-between Robertson and Nylander would be electric. But now I'm unsure about Robertson.

I thought I saw somewhere that it'll be 3 to 4 million per.

If there's more teams in on him though that could come up.

Over 4 seems like way too much.

Leafs really need to make a couple trades to get more space.

Yes. Two seperate teams with entirely different rosters, multiple different GMs who couldn’t get these deals in other markets just happen to have stumbled upon real winners and team players in the exact same tax market.

This. Hopefully Tre's familiarity with Lindholm helps.

We can always dump Kampf or Jarnkrok to create more space, or pursue a trade for another top 4.

I would rather sign Stephenson over Lindholm, he’ll be cheaper and is also a better skater. We need a center who can keep up with Willy.

McMann has a chance to solidify himself as an NHLer. I love his game

Domi can do great things with Matthews on his line

Robertson I was expecting a great year from hopefully he isn’t traded

Maybe another young forward steps up that we aren’t expecting and makes the team.
