Maybe, but I don't think they would have cared to get a dump... this is just to make the money work.

Robertson should have better value. Just the career totals and NHL games played, it's not really close. Like I said before, you're probably a lot closer to Holmberg if you want to compare assets.

Flames have a tonne of Cap Space.

Leafs couldn't fit them in without a 3rd. team involved, or moving a few players the other way.

But yes, value wise Pelletier probably isn't worth a 2nd. at this point, especially if he was a Leafs' player, and so the only value is 2nd. and 7th.

I just don't see how the Flames managed this?

This is a steal.

Kampf and Kuzmenko don't really compare.
Kampf has a whole defensive game that Kuzmenko isn't being paid for and Kuzmenko broke into the League as a 74pt player and that's what Philly is trying to capture alongside Michkov. I don't really feel we have a comparable player to him, but maybe more like Domi?

Yeah, maybe they think Torts and Kuzmenko will work?

Yeah, I know 22-23 Kuzmenko looked impressive. And then for 29 games with the Flames.
But he has been a healthy scratch 1/4 of the time this year.
He is being dumped by the Flames, but maybe a translator for Michkov? Assuming Kuzmenko's English is there?

I thought of Domi, but he's under contract for another 3 years, and if they're looking to free up space in the summer to go big game hunting that doesn't fit.

Super annoying in almost 7 years, Toronto hasn't added another top 6 forward, and hasn't found a creative of doing so. Just signing 1 year prove it to me deals.

That top 6, 2nd line winger spot has been a hole going on 5 years now lol.

Boqvist is not very good. Not even the Panthers could work on his game to get better and they only have 6 D right now. This team needs a dynamic skating defenseman that can play meaningful minutes. Probably could be worth the gamble if they dump Myers and Timmins at some point?

Starting to remind me way too much of the Burke era as negative as that sounds. At least he hasn't lost a trade quite yet -- mostly because he hasn't made one in 2 years. Also no fun quotes with these guys.

I hope they prove me wrong in the next few weeks. For someone that is apparently in on "everyone" he sure as hell isn't involved.

really like Flames roster...just need a top LHD

Reilly for Parekh or Brzustewicz, Honzek and 1st?

Leafs would go into next offseason with a lot of cap space and restocked prospects
 
Glad Frost has been moved, extremely overrated player on here for some odd reason. Adds nothing to our roster.

Not sure what extremely overrated means, I think most saw him as a good suitor for the 3rd line role spot to add speed, 2-way value and an upgrade over our center situation that's quite bad at the moment. His cap hit is fair, he's only 25 years old and a RFA at the end of the season. He's from the area. Seemed like a good fit for a mild price.

Who adds so much more to our roster?

If i was the flames I wouldnt do Parekh straight up. Kids going to be a stud or a cheap ppqb. Either way I'd be higher on him than mo.

Extremely overrated seems like a strange way to describe a 3rd line player.
I think he would have been an excellent pickup, filling a need.
Treliving must have a plan for something else.

His plan so far was to try to sign John Klingberg and now to try to sign Brandon Saad.
