Soucy to the Rangers for a 3rd. Not going to take the time to quote myself saying that type of piece wasn't going to cost us a premium piece. Good deal for New York.

Ya, I would've loved that one, personally. Not so much for a playoff run but my more for the long run.

But he wasn't very good last season either, I'm not a fan of his so I personally feel like he's better served in the press box
What do you expect? A defensive stalwart? That's not Rielly's game. His game is high risk/high reward; you minimize the risk by playing him with a sound defensive partner.

For 5 years since Hainsey anyway, we've been talking about getting that type of player, and he's here now, and the caveman behind the bench doesn't pair them.

It's not surprising, though, given he basically walked Dunn out of STL.

But he's so so bad defensively

Why not go get Geekie and Carlo? Tre must have a massive hard on for Laughton/Schenn if we’re watching everyone else get plucked up

Where’s the reward?

Yikes, Yzerman looking like a fool, paid a 2nd to unload Walman and less then a year later, gets traded for a 1st round pick?

Also, Toronto seems interested in ceterman/d-man only according to Insider Trading. Guess they know who they want.

Tanev, McCabe and OEL have all been pretty solid this year.

Rielly is basically only above replacement value on the PP and because he isn't penalized regularly... Below replacement elsewhere.

The biggest problem is Benoit by a wide margin... Like in every regard.

..and yet, they had 58.3% of the shots, and 52.9% Corsi together... They were actually pretty decent. But I'd say the focus should still be on finding a partner for Mo, as the rest of the four are quite decent together.

McCabe Tanev
Rielly XXX
OEL Timmins.
