You know what kinda sucks but doesn’t? This years draft has a weak group of defenders. (Either that or the forward group is elite beyond compare)
We have to be patient. Thomson and JBD are coming - two 1st round draft picks with considerable upside. There will be opportunities to make this team better at the draft and before free agency but until then we are stuck with what we got.
And I still don’t care. Everyone will only continue to get better (even Giroux). There is light at the end of the tunnel, we just mis-estimated the length until the end.
