Has there been any word on what Frederic wants for his next contract? He’s a great fit on paper, need to see him play obviously. But there might be a chance we sign him for a few years, just turned 26 so if the numbers are right they might wanna keep him for 4-5 years.

Luukkonen is a pipe dream, but dumping kapanen++ for Greenway at 50% should be doable.

The defenseman I want the Oilers to get is Oleksiak.

Soucy might come cheap and if Kulak plays with Nurse, Soucy might be solid at 3LD.

I originally thought Matheson was a possibility but if it’s dollar in/out, i doubt its in the cards

Who knows what they are doing with Kane though. Seravalli indicated we would have to attach an asset to move him. Whether thats true or not, who knows

Stauffer had a man-crush on Soucy for years(along with a lot of people around here), I'm not surprised he would ask about him.

My friend never sends me random messages about hockey, but he did about Soucy being available. I didn't realize he had such a following here until I read your post...
