There is no chance he is healthy now. He has only taken a casual skate. He had 6 different abdominal issues and has not yet really been able to start aggressively rehabbing from those according to reports.

There would be no friction if he isn't going to be healthy before playoffs. He obviously wants to play 5 to 10 regular season games which would stop us from adding anyone with big contract this week.

The issue with Carlo is he kind of sucks this year. He is getting the 5th most ice time on average in the team, has the worst corsi of all their defenders, one of the worst sf%, dead even on goals for/against but rocking a team worst xGF% also gives up the most high danger chances on the team.

Or a 2nd/3rd for Soderblom, who might be expendable now with the Knight trade and is 29th in GSAA, 36th in Sv%AA, and 38th in Medium Danger Sv%AA. Stu is 72nd, 54th, and 66th in those areas. Oh, and Soderblom is a year younger than Skinner.

Theres also a grumpy Seth Jones complaining to media about being unhappy, saying the team sucks, demanding a trade and demanding where to go.
Chicago did great considering the circumstances. Certainly not a video game trade.

He isn't healthy. Kane has a history of coming back to early from injury or not treating his injury to the detriment of his team. He screws his teammates (and apparently they are tired of it) by not being at 100%. He came back early from his wrist injury- admitted in the summer it wasn't properly healed. Last year- he knew he was hurt from the start- didnt get it looked after, complained in the media about his ice time. Oilers could have added a 5M player at the deadline plus a 100% Kane for the playoffs. They got neither.
The Oilers aren't telling him to fake his injury. He had his knee and whole f***ing upper body rebuilt. Take the time to heal, build up strength, and come back a menace in the playoffs. He seems to be choosing to come back early just to play- f*** everything else

If these morons don’t bring in a competent goalie they are essentially waiving the white flag. We know what Skinner and Pickard are and we know what the playoffs will look like with that tandem playing.
Gregor loves quoting the "rush chances" like they are some sort of guaranteed goal. Oilers are one of the best at preventing high danger chances- so obviously those "rush" opportunities aren't high danger (maybe a shot from distance). lol, when someone brought up his goals saved above expected on the GYB pod- Gregor actually said "I dont pay attention to that" lollllll
