HF Habs: Trade Proposal Thread #91: 2025 Trade Deadline edition

I don't understand the urgency of some to get rid of Armia...we are fighting for a playoff spot and they want to give away one of the best on PK and puck handler on the boards.

If it's just for a money issue , it doesn't make sense either.

If one forgets about the contract ..which runs out anyway at the end of the year..... Armia is giving us good hockey

I remind you gentlemen that the idea here is to build a winning culture, not to collect third round picks like pokemon.
Armia never be traded for 3rd.

I wonder if it's possible to get Luneau out of Anaheim.

Matheson
Anderson

Savard.

Didn’t know Brisson fell off this hard, he was an excellent prospect not too long ago. Just shows how I don’t think Hage should be an untouchable for us. If you get a youngish 2C for him there should be no issues trading him.

Different players, different organizations. Knights are impatient with their prospects and im not sure they're all that good at development which will become a problem for them in the future.

Trading Hage would be a mistake imo. It's a false equivalency to think because one player busted, another will.

I'd also try to keep our better assets to trade for something more than secondary scoring.

Considering the price that was paid by the teams and Lamoriello’s reported price for Nelson and Palmieri, Dvorak might get traded after all

A 3rd or even a 2nd might be a possible return

Also they didn't seem to trust kovacevic that much. You can't enter the season with Kovacevic and Barron plus rookies on the right side. Unless they signed someone but too lazy to check who was free
Of course we could have went with Kovacevic, Savard playing 18-19 minutes each and Baron 14 minutes a game. If Baron doesn’t work out you trade him like we did for Carrier.

Kovacevic, Carrier and Savard is a lot better than having guys playing off position.
