I hope we can get another firstBasu's rumour piece in the athletic is out today...and the only rumour he's hearing is Armia / Evans combo for a 1st
he thinks habs hold onto Dvorak and savard because the return won't be worth using a retention spot and habs are going to need guys to finish the year without raiding laval who may go on a long playoff run
Mailing it in, since he got his huge deal. Sad for Nucks fans.
Depends on which year. The 2025 draft is not a very deep one with respect to high end talent. After 15 OA there is not much distinction between the next 20 to 40 picks. If its a first, Let’s hope it’s in 2026 which appears to be much deeper draft class.I hope we can get another first
Rantanen refused the terms in Colorado
Carolina willing to offer what he wants but rejects it , even tho Carolina is a good team
Why would he go in Montreal. Dude sounds like LITRer in 3 years
Still not conviced to keep ordinary players when better options could happen. Dach is not in my future plans if I was the gm. He doesn't interrest me at center and I wonder if better winger could fill the spot. I'm for a brand new center, a 2nd center at the right age, acquired by trade or ufa signing. Then at 3rd center Newhook for a year or two, Beck at 4c. No need to keep Evans and Dvorak, see!![]()
Canadiens' Kirby Dach out with lower-body injury
Owen Beck has been called up from the Laval Rocket by the Montreal Canadiens, the NHL team announced Monday.www.sportsnet.ca
You were saying?
Id rather get Marner over Rantanen if i had the choice. Rantanen looks like a god damn babyThey all want to play to Vegas, Florida or Tampa these days......weather and taxes !!!
So he'll probably wait to see if he can get into those teams.
Honest question but what makes Rantanen a baby? Did he do something or say something?Id rather get Marner over Rantanen if i had the choice. Rantanen looks like a god damn baby
Based on what exactly? Rantanen’s missed 28GP total, in this his 9th NHL seasonRantanen refused the terms in Colorado

Give Carolina our 1st pick, Evans and Newhook for Rantanen as long as we have a financial deal in place with Rantanen.
Yeah we don't ... Pipe dreams for overrated players, might as well get Nate first right?Give Carolina our 1st pick, Evans and Newhook for Rantanen as long as we have a financial deal in place with Rantanen.
He’s a US resident - which makes him qualify for low tax bonus structured deal. I’d offer $13M x 8 with $90M of it in bonus without blinkingWith the Quebec tax, Rantanen will only accept $12-13 mil so that’s a bit too much I think
Basu must have read my post from a couple days ago.Basu's rumour piece in the athletic is out today...and the only rumour he's hearing is Armia / Evans combo for a 1st

he looks like he wants to sign where he wants and take it easy. He looks like a guy that doesnt want to win anymore neither care. If he refused the 12m of Colorado 8 years , hes just looking for money and his favorite place. If Carolina is not enough then lil pup wants to play in Cali or Tampa/FloridaBased on what exactly? Rantanen’s missed 28GP total, in this his 9th NHL season
