I think Mercer is the likeliest name going back since Vancouver want a player that can play center and NJ need to send some money back.

You understand it's easy to be skeptical, specially since he played a significant portion of the ice time in his last 5.

What a good comparison... Mittlestadt at 5.75 per signed until 2027-28, Jake Evans roughly same production, 2 more years of experience.

Think Jake gets at least that same amount on his new deal?

Not sure if they "soured" on him, but he's not going good this year.

I don't mind a Mittlestadt discussion TBH. His profile seems to fit with several of our own problems.
