Those are the player that I'm targetting as a the center piece in a Monahan deal and the roster player I would be willing to take if they want cap space, and Mtl can add Pearson, Harris, Evans , RHP, Kovacevic, Allen, Savard able to retain salalry on Pearson or Savard or Allens

WPG - Lambert or Mcgroarty or Barlow -
Savard might move the needle in a separate deal but the rest are just filler.

Chevaldayoff strikes me as very frugal and does not tend to move quality prospects. Habs would have to add significantly to get Lambert and even then, he might not even be made available.

McGroarty I believe hails from a region close to the Peg and given how much trouble they have in attracting players to commit to the city, they’d be silly to trade this kind of player.

Back to Lambert, the Habs had a shot at drafting him in 2022 at the 26th OA slot but they chose instead to go with Mesar. Rather than wish for Lambert (who was taken 30th but who doesn’t look attainable), I’d much rather see the org take measures to not repeat the same error.

Can we stop trading (or signing) bottom 6 players ? We need better players to push down our current wannabe top6 players, not add more of them.
Kakko was 21 when he had his 40 pts season in NHL playing just 0:53 PP time (just 3 PP points). Can you imagine Joshua Roy having these stats next season? We would be super happy. Plus Kakko is 6-3 which is another benefit. People just need to reset their expectations and stop looking at him as 2OA. He is still legit top6 prospect, no question about it and I would take immediately.

I don't get a good vibe about Kakko. All the tools no toolbox kind of guy.

McGroarty is from Nebraska. He was born and raised there, moving to Michigan to play for the US NTDP and then University of Michigan.

Habs fans shouldn’t attack Sens players, it’s caused an uproar and now everytime a Habs player is mentioned, Sens fans say his value is low on top of other team fanbases bashing our players

Of course, people do not have good vibes about him because they see him as a failure to expectations. He was 2OA and you would assume he would be close to PPG player now. He is not and he is now labelled as a bust.
If you look closer, his production 5v5 last season was on par with Caufield, but he has got size and he is better defensively. Believe me, he would be a great 2nd line winger for us.

I agree you will not get Kakko for Monahan only, but I gues one of Harris/Farrell/late 2nd should be enough.
Rangers would need to add a 1st if we are trading Money straight up for Kakko (3rd liner). I would do Savard for Kakko and I would rather take a late first for Money. Rangers fan have given up on him already, my friend from NY thinks he's not in the NHL in 3 years.

Sens fans? There is only 45 of them..........no big deal.
All jokes aside, their team has our number the last few seasons that's for sure.......but what a bunch of pukes those guys are.....they have to be the most unlikeable guys of any team.
