Bedard has a better opinion of Roy than you do.
Roy has some great strengths in terms of hockey IQ and puck skills. Good on him for his accomplishments but a player who skates like he's wearing workboots and isn't physical in any way has to prove himself at the NHL level before I'll be a believer. Right now I'm hoping for the best but I'm certainly not getting my hopes up.

Could be a great trade for Calgary if Sharangovich and Toffoli both go back to their production from two years ago. Calgary's getting a player who is 6 years younger and will be under their control for several more years than Toffoli's final year before UFA status.

Canadian teams are doing well on the trade front today.

Definitely the question is can Sharangovich get back to his production from 2 years ago and not being on Hughes line hurt it

NJD basically got a rental for their playoff push for a good price. Good for Toffoli too. CGY needs cap space for their soon to be regrettable extension to Lindholm.

Dont get your hopes up.

New GM, New coach, half the team wants out and will be traded plus the guys already gone...

If I am The Habs, I would protect that Flames 1st pick at all costs.....
Don't get me wrong. Calgary's on their way downhill big time and I would never trade that pick (we'll more likely end up with Florida's pick though given the trade conditions). I was simply saying that Huberdeau and Sharangovich will likely have significant bounce back seasons in terms of offensive production.

Those conditions were far too complicated for me to understand. Either way they better not deal that pick unless its for something good.....

Friedman saying Comtois won’t be qualified and will become a UFA.

He don’t want to play for MTL (maybe it change with the new direction but he really didn’t want to be draft by MTL back then)
Doesn't matter.

He's still tied to the 2018 sexual assault case and the Habs shouldn't take another hit.
I can garante you he‘s not implicate in that
