Also, w/Bergeron maybe/maybe not retiring, THIS is the type of scenario where if Kane + Tara go close to min, + Bs cut to the bone elsewhere, this is where Bos can possibly add Tara + Kane w/Panarin

Rangers - we still have to cut + juggle to extend, not bridge KAM; this might mean selling Lindgren, which eventually should be considered anyway b'c selling high and developing more/better assets = profit = upside to improve the roster.
But even at 9.5, adding McAvoy would = RDs of Fox, McA, + Schneid. Trouba can still do a chunk of shifts vs slower teams to provide depth/relief, and add to 4RW, where there is less responsibility for speed skating.

Then, of course, we auction off both Swayman + Ulmark to the highest bidders, offering the best futures.

There really is no feasible buyout. >10M ish for 3 years.
