I like the idea... but im not even sure he is "gritty" ... granted I don't watch much Wild games because the are so boring ... but... ive never seen him play gritty or with an edge.BUT THE FUTURE!!!!!!
I'm not impressed with Greenway, but if he is here to replace Okposo I'm good with it.
I think with the number of guys they have that CAN finish the hope is he can create space for them and be more of a facilitator. His defensive stats are good and he gets tough matchups. But he can’t score to save his life. Sounds like another Girgensons. I guess they are betting we can unlock his offense somehow and are looking at his upside.
They are indeed bigger and grittier.Greenway to the Sabres
Or they just think we are a little small and bad defensively and they want a player they can put out there to help defend a lead late in the game. His defensive stats are good and he gets tough matchups. But he can’t score to save his life. Sounds like another Girgensons. I guess they are betting we can unlock his offense somehow and are looking at his upside.
Which leads me to believe the Sabres also kicked the tires on Horvat. Both would be Vanek connections.
Sundqvist immediately moved from DRW to the Wild to fill Greenway's roster spot, DRW then get JVR.
Neither did Tage Thompson, until Don Granato got hold of him. He's never scored more than 12.
Greenway's offense is gravy, it's that he has a track record as a good defensive player that is the boon.
LOL... did that dude seriously say Bonino would have put Buffalo on par with Boston?View attachment 662300Love him or hate him….he is correct on this one that many on here just don’t seem to understand.
they "probably" have to move a F out, right ?Still time for more as well. See what else comes down the pipe here.
