So everyone’s loaded up but us? I know having a good deadline doesn’t mean you’ll win the cup, but we have serious flaws, and if Lindholm was the only going for it move, they might as well just kept the first in my opinion.

I don't think we're winning this year, unfortunately. The West is going to be an absolute f***show.

Some posters really need to relax. We've added Zadorov and Lindholm already & got the shopping done ahead of time. If anything, there's 3rd/4th line considerations, but even then I'm not sure its necessary when the group is gelling like it is.

Personally, I don’t count Zadorov as a TDL acquisition.

I also don’t think who we have acquired already should matter when evaluating. Team still needs a winger and a D.

What I think does matter are the prices paid and who fits. I wouldn’t have done the Guentzel or Toffoli packages. I want them to play in the second tier of markets for wingers.

The one that I’m disappointed about is Tanev. Maybe Walker as well given they took back such an awful contract for a late 1st.

Canucks have literally been involved in the most trades this entire season.

Which also makes things interesting. You can face a very busted up team in round 2 if you make it.

The first round is the hardest on the body. We need DEPTH.

I don't even want to give up Lekk for Buch. To me term is more than just one extra year beyond this one. I'd rather have Lekk on a full ELC than Buch for one more year and then require a new deal.

Nucks don't have the capital to give in relation to that Toffoli trade.

No 3rds for next 3 yrs.

No 2nd this year.

You're not giving up a 1st.

Devils may not have wanted prospects.

The lack of capital currently is the reason nothing has happened so far but that's also mainly because of the previous deals done.

Given the PITIFUL state of the team before this season, barring a catastrophic meltdown, I'm OK with whatever that transpires from this point on.

We're not rich in assets, what's been done so far are already pretty hard to pull off.

Grab a depth defenceman if possible.

And that's an okay deadline. Pretty good if you count Lindholm (and Zadorov to a lesser extent).

i would offer mikhaeyev, our #6, 7 and 8 prospects and a conditional 3rd that becomes a 1st if crosby scores 5 goals in an scf game.

I actually wouldn’t mind Zucker as it would push Suter down the lineup, where he is more effective. Zucker definitely has the goal scoring potential, at least.

Calgary is playing like a team with nothing to lose right now. If Markstrom stays hot, I wouldnt be surprised for them to maybe catch a WC spot.
