f***ing up high picks can really screw a franchise. Calgary and Vancouver are prime examples. If Bennett had worked out for Calgary or Juolevi and Virtanen for Vancouver each team would be in a much better spot than they are currently. It's like if the Leafs had screwed up the Marner pick and had taken like Strome. Dark timeline there.

The debate at the draft floor was between Marner and Hanifin. Babs was pushing for Hanifin.

honestly IMO that is going to be one helluva series

I am expecting the following sereies to be awesome

• Tampa Vs Florida
• Avs Vs VGK
• Caps Vs Canes

IMHO I think if the Leafs don't F up i.e. half ass or go down mentally they will make the conference finals easily. Leafs have the best roster in the Canadian division. Only team that can give them trouble is probably the jets (offensively) OR if McDavid goes god mode.

Price can go god mode if he wants but leafs should still be able to win that series IMO; if they don't then shame on us

We made a couple of deals that came out after 3PM last year. We seem to do that a lot. Fairly sure the Lindholm, Dzierkals, and Rosen deals all came out after 3PM the past two years.

Trading for Rittich was to get Campbell some rest while Freddy heals.

Not much more than that.
