Calgary Flames confirm they just "punked" media with Denis Wideman cellphone-at-practice gag.

Pacioretty - DD - Kessel

It would be opponents worst night mare

And HFs worst nightmare

Guaranteed easy secondary assists for DD nightly :D

It'd be the worst "top" line on any playoff team.

Just a rumor ( the big clash )

Would you like to see Bergevin make a big clash, something like Kessel to mtl for a package of our best prospects and picks ?

No.

Kessel is not the type of player you use over 10% of your cap on.

The only way I see us making a big deal is if the other team covets Eller and Emelin and PAP.

You could then move about $8M in salary and make room for a big player.

Personally.....That package is not enticing enough for me to move someone like Eberle or Kessel.

BREAKING

I have it in good authority that I'm bored as hell in Chinatown NYC and am now trying to score some underground ivory.

Will keep you updated

Remember that last year the Vanek trade was done at 10am but we heard about it only at 2:50 ish.

Canadiens still kicking tires on a top-six winger.

Coyotes GM Don Maloney has been the busiest man this trade deadline...and apparently isn't done. More to come from the desert.

If somehow MB could send back equivalent salary the other way, a deal for a guy like Kessel would automatically propels us to one of the favourite for the Stanley Cup.

Either Toronto retains some of the salary or take a combination of Eller, Emelin, Gilbert, PAP plus the usual 1st + + +

I would be all over a deal like this one:

Kessel for 1st - Eller, Emelin, Tinordi, Fucale
